Schoolboy, 11, 'excluded' from lessons after turning up to World Book Day dressed in Fifty Shades of Grey outfit with cable ties and an eye mask
Children around the country were encouraged to go to school dressed as literary characters yesterday as part of the global event. Liam Scholes, 11, arrived at Sale High School, Greater Manchester dressed as Christian Grey - played by Jamie Dornan (inset, right) in the film adaptation of the erotic novel. The outfit was complete with cable ties and an eye mask. But teachers failed to see the funny side and phoned his mother Nicola (inset, left) to tell her the costume was inappropriate.
