Caroline Westlake, 30 (pictured outside court today, right), sobbed at Westminster Magistrates' Court as she was spared jail for glassing colleague Kate Sanders (inset) in a bitter row over Adam Davies (left), a keeper in the llama petting enclosure at London Zoo. The incident occurred when former zoologist Westlake overheard Miss Sanders insulting her looks in the ladies' toilets during a work Christmas party at the central London zoo's Prince Albert Suite. The pair came to blows after Miss Sanders, Mr Davies's former partner, apparently told friends in the toilet: 'Have you seen the state of her?' Westlake struck Miss Sanders, a monkey expert, in the face with a wine glass and was convicted of assault over the incident. She has now been spared jail but forced to pay £800 in compensation to Miss Sanders.
