Hordes of revellers took to the streets of Huddersfield, Lincoln and Bristol to get their first taste of university life as part of the latest Carnage bar crawl - sometimes for as little as £1. Groups of students flooded the streets dressed in animal outfits and bright orange t-shirts as part of the Animal Instinct Unleash the Beast Carnage tour, which will stop at 36 towns and cities across Britain. Dubbed Britain's most debauched student event, the night lived up to its name as young women clung onto the remains of their dignity and groups of rowdy men clowned around in the street. Despite plummeting temperatures, the young women braved the chilly weather, wearing tiny shorts and revealing ripped T-shirts, with their underwear on display (left and right). Others decided they were more at home clowning around in the middle of the street (top middle). Police and paramedics (bottom middle) kept a close eye on the chaotic event - which claims to give students 'the best night of their lives' - with witnesses seeing fights breaking out between some of the partygoers.
