Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a collection of apartments in Kensington, West London available for the global ultra-wealthy needing a short-term place to stay in Britain. The sleek flats are kitted out in over-the-top decor, supposed to look similar to the classic design of a Mercedes car. Although they are only designed for relatively short stays, the flats - which cost around £300-400 a night - have more than 1,000 sq/ft each with a living and dining area, a fully fitted kitchen and two bedrooms.
